Dear Colleagues and Friends,

On behalf of Asian Pan-Pacific Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (APPSPGHAN) and Thai Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Hepatology (TSPGH), we are very pleased to welcome you all to participate in the 1^st APPSPGHAN Endoscopy Masterclass and the 2^nd Hands-on Course in Pediatric Therapeutic GI Endoscopy on June 2-3, 2022 in Bangkok.

The objective of the event is to enhance knowledge and skills in pediatric endoscopy for physicians working in this field within the Asia-Pacific region and other parts of the world. We are aware that gastrointestinal endoscopy is not only important for establishing the definite diagnoses, but also provides therapeutic lifesaving to critical patients presenting with emergency problems, such as GI bleeding. New techniques are continuously developed, in which hands-on simulation training is one of the crucial ways to learn, as a part of continuous professional development, to acquire necessary skills.

The Endoscopy Masterclass will be held as a one-day virtual lecture to broaden the knowledge and practical points in endoscopy presented by various international experts in the field; and the Hands-on Course will be a one-day face-to-face workshop including 10 stations of essential therapeutic endoscopy. This will be a good opportunity for all delegates to practice with experienced endoscopists. We believe that the event will be of great benefit for better care of our children.
